Working Group on Sustainable Tourism
Since 1998, ETE has been leading a variety of working groups supporting ETE's projects by the means of discussing key topics of sustainable tourism development amongst a broad range of stakeholders from national NGOs in the fields of nature conservation, environmental protection, regional development, mobility, leisure, sports and tourism.
The present working group 'Sustainable Tourism' aims at finding solutions for a sustainable interrelation of tourism and nature conservation and developing effective cooperation strategies. Thus, the working group is supporting the efforts of the German National Strategy on Biological Diversity.
