ICTr-CE: Driving Real Change for Sustainable Tourism on EuroVelo 13 – Iron Curtain Trail

The ICTr-CE project supported SMEs in developing sustainable cycling tourism along EuroVelo 13. It created practical tools, training, and collaboration to drive measurable impact. Key results include two Info & Booking Centres and six ready-to-book cycling packages combining sustainability and quality. The project introduced the Impact Measurement System (IMS) to assess and improve tourism services, as well as a Carbon Footprint Calculator for informed decisions. The “Good Impact Cycling” concept promotes regenerative tourism through CO₂ tracking and future contributions to local projects. With over 1,200 participants, ICTr-CE built a strong foundation for ongoing sustainable tourism development.
